2. Legal requirements for post-replacement anomalies:
According to the "Urban Water Supply Service Quality Standards" and the water supply contract, users have the right to request the water supplier to periodically verify or recheck the replaced water meters to ensure accurate measurement.
3. Verification by a professional testing institution:
If measurement deviation is suspected, an institution with metrological verification qualifications (such as a water flow testing center) must be commissioned to conduct on-site verification. The water meter can only continue to be used after passing the verification.
4. Difference between calibration and repair:
Verification is a legally mandated metrological confirmation, while calibration is the adjustment of a deviated instrument. If the verification results show an error exceeding the allowable range, calibration or replacement is necessary.
